TOMATO ends on a high note in Kalamáta: a finale that's just the beginning
On May 12th in Kalamata, Greece, the final event of the European project TOMATO took place.
A well-attended and content-rich meeting, it highlighted the results achieved after years of dedicated work with cultural and educational partners across Europe.
During the event, we:
Revisited the key milestones of the project and shared an overview of the activities carried out
Presented the final deliverables and discussed future perspectives
Provided practical guidance for the financial reporting phase
Reflected on the evolution of the TOMATO Kit and its potential long-term impact
TOMATO has been much more than just a project: it served as a laboratory of ideas and a real opportunity to rethink how culture is communicated and made accessible—especially to younger audiences.
Although the project has officially come to an end, its tools and guiding principles will continue to inspire innovative educational and cultural practices throughout Europe.
A heartfelt thank you to all partners, educators, creatives, and professionals involved.
Your contribution was essential in turning TOMATO into a truly collective experience.
